Walter Knoll London

Connecting to customers through in-store experience

Walter Knoll

What we did

  • Brand strategy
  • Creative programming
  • Exhibition design
  • Exhibition curation

With the digitisation of retail, it’s more important than ever that brands use their stores to create bespoke and engaging experiences for customers that they would not gain from shopping online.

Water Knoll needed a way to leverage their prestigious but underused showroom to  drive engagement with their customer base. We curated a varied programme of events  for the space, strategically designed to appeal to Walter Knoll’s target audience of design professionals and contract sellers.

Exhibitions on historical product design, contemporary architecture and contemporary fine art, “Play”, “Unfeasible” and “Karin Ruggaber”, were curated, designed and produced. Visitor guides, invitations and social media assets for each event were produced to generate buzz around the brand’s audience building activities.

Showroom visitors increased by 85% and coverage of the events reached target  audiences through coverage by  influential publications, Dezeen, Creative Review and Disegno, exceeding Walter Knoll’s communications objectives.
